We are building the house that we will raise our children in on 5 acres of densely treed lakefront property. We aim to build it responsibly, sustainably, and economically. We have never built a house before but we are up for the challenge! We have researched and studied and asked everyone we know who has built their own home as many questions as we could think of. Now we are ready to put our plans in to action!
We will be chronicling our steps from buying the land to moving in – and everything we learn along the way.
